About Us

Our school values community, student growth and active learning. We aim to create a supportive environment that recognizes effort, encourages curiosity and brings our students together. Below are a few ways we put these values into practice throughout the school year with student recognition and special events.

Family Nights
These special evenings bring together students and families from Pre-K through 5th grade for hands-on activities, entertainment and student performances. It’s a great way to celebrate our school community and showcase student talents.

Badge Ceremonies
Held quarterly, Badge Ceremonies honor students for their academic progress, effort and achievements. Teachers present awards to recognize hard work, personal growth and success in the classroom.

School Carnival
A highly anticipated end-of-year event where students can use their hard-earned Bear Bucks to enjoy games, activities and unique attractions. It’s a fun way to reward positive behavior and wrap up the school year.

Glow Party
To celebrate positive behavior leading into spring break, students enjoy a gym transformed with black lights, music and dancing. It’s a high-energy reward that students look forward to all year.

Field Day
A day full of outdoor games and challenges designed to promote physical activity, sportsmanship and teamwork. Students rotate through stations and work together to complete fun, active tasks.

Buddy Classrooms
Older students are paired with younger buddies to participate in collaborative, fun-filled activities that build mentorship, leadership and a strong sense of community across grade levels.

Safety Patrols
A team of responsible 5th grade students who assist with morning arrival and afternoon dismissal, helping ensure a safe and orderly school environment each day.

Move to Learn
This program incorporates short physical activity breaks into the school day to help boost focus, energy and engagement in the classroom.

Flower Show
Open to all grade levels, students can bring in plants or flowers to be judged for creativity and care. Blue ribbon winners go on to represent our school at the citywide flower show.
