Meet the Principal

Principal Matthew Meighen  - Brentwood Elementary School 

Brentwood is a wonderful and diverse school. Our families and staff members work together to help our students  grow each year. Students receive free breakfast, lunch, and a snack while attending school. Brentwood has at least 4 family events each year and several PTA-sponsored events. Thanks to FWCS’ technology team, our 5th graders had the chance to learn about 3D printing and take home a customized 3D nameplate. We are looking forward to expanding this learning opportunity to other grade levels when possible. Each student is assigned a laptop to use at school and home when necessary. 

Brentwood is committed to helping students grow in reading, writing, and math. In addition, we want to help students learn how to manage their social-emotional well-being by showing them how to regulate their brain state and be active problem solvers.  

I went to elementary, middle, and high school in FWCS and I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that got me started in education.
